The Opiate Task Force is a group of organizations and individuals united in their commitment to reduce the tragic consequences that stem from the use of heroin and other opiates in Lake County, Ohio.

We believe that through public education, collaboration, and wise use of our available resources, we can make a difference here in our home county. Heroin and other opiates are tearing families apart, killing our neighbors, and destroying young lives. We will not allow that to continue. We will fight back.

The Task Force was started by the Lake County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and
Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board. Members include:

Lake County Department of Job & Family Services
Lake County Juvenile Court
Lake County Sheriff’s Department
Lake County ADAMHS Board
Lake County General Health District
Lake County Board of Commissioners
Lake County Coroner
Lake County Educational Service Center
Lake County Mental Health/Drug Court
